In the Netherlands a strict difference exists between a trainee position and a professional position. In order to apply as a trainee, you have to be in school or university. Dutch tax regulations only permit trainees (non-graduates) to receive a small compensation of € 325,- a month on top of the expected study grant. In order to make international exchange possible we encourage people to get a grant from the Leonardo/Erasmus program. Your university should be able to supply you with information and UNStudio will support you in your application. UNStudio can only accept a small number of trainees every year, for a period of 5-6 months. If you apply we would like to know when you are available. It’s not possible to have an interview without application and invitation. As a trainee you will be part of a project team. You
will be involved in the same work as other team members, sharing the same facilities. Expect hard work but also respect and to be taken seriously.
Applications should include: Visuals of your work (designs, technical drawings), CV (including personal data, experience, software knowledge) and preferred period of internship.
