We are currently looking for a Project BIM Manager to join our Shanghai office, focusing on BIM management deliverables and documentation in alignment with ISO 19650 principles. This project-driven role spans multiple projects, supporting our Shanghai and Hong Kong offices while collaborating closely with the Global BIM Group.
Skills:
- 5+ years of total experience in architectural design and project delivery, particularly for large-scale projects utilizing Revit and BIM workflows, with at least 3+ years as a BIM Coordinator or BIM Specialist.
- In-depth knowledge of Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, Navisworks, and Dynamo.
- Experience with ISO 19650 and CIC BIM Standards General preferred.
- Familiarity with BIMcollab, Solibri, or Revizto is advantageous.
- Strong ability to clearly communicate advanced concepts to all team levels.
- Skilled in training teams on workflows and software.
- Systematic and methodical problem-solving approach.
- Highly organized with strong workload management skills.
- Proven leadership and management abilities.
- Proactive, capable of working independently, and committed to continuous development.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain project BIM files, ensuring compliance with UNS BIM standards.
- Develop and implement BIM protocols, workflows, and systems.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and training for BIM workflows and tools.
- Coordinate and review project model deliveries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and maintain the BIM library and necessary components.
- Prepare localized templates to meet regional BIM standards, in line with UNS Global BIM requirements.
- Chair BIM Coordination Workshops to meet Project EIR requirements.
- Perform clash detection and coordination, managing results in line with standards.
- Oversee the Information Management process, ensuring data integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
- Advise on BIM implementation during project kick-off meetings.
- Consult with external BIM specialists and manage information handovers.
- Support and coordinate with architects and BIM coordinators.
- Prepare and deliver in-house Revit training and mentoring sessions in collaboration with Asia Regional BIM Manager.
- Contribute to UNS BIM initiatives within the Shanghai and Asia region.
- Assist the Bid Coordinator and Regional BIM Manager in authoring BIM-specific pre-contract documents for RFPs.
- Implement BIM workflows and protocols as supported by the Asia Regional BIM Manager, ensuring compliance at the project level.
- Maintain Global UNS BIM Standards and share knowledge with the Global BIM Group.
