Our design proposal accepted for a large-scale residential project in Chongqing

Some exciting news from our Shanghai office! Our design proposal has been accepted by Guocoland China for a large-scale residential project which forms part of the redevelopment of the historic 18 Steps area in Chongqing, China.

Guocoland China today announced that they have accepted UNStudio's design proposal for the redevelopment of the 18 Steps Area in Chongqing. The invited competition was for the design of 6 super-tall luxury residential towers on the historic 18-steps area. The ensemble of towers averages around 285m in height, while the design brief also includes a retail lifestyle shopping podium, luxury terrace villas, and a multitude of amenities for the towers that take the form of elevated sky-bridges.
