Lane 189 wins UNESCO Prix Versailles for Best Interior

On 15 May 2018 at UNESCO Headquarters, our design for the Lane 189 shopping mall in Shanghai won Best Interior in the category of Shopping Malls at the grand prize of the Prix Versailles, an initiative of UNESCO.

The Prix recognises the most remarkable structures, in terms of both interior and exterior architecture. Overall, 12 designs received World Titles from the Prix Versailles, in the four main categories of the competition: Shops & Stores, Shopping Malls, Hotels and Restaurants. The programme promotes a successful interaction between culture and economy in real-world situations whilst taking into consideration the vital objectives of sustainable development.
