On the 17th, 18th and 24th of February, StadsSalon opens its doors to the Cityscapes Foundation project: “Poetics of Space”. This new exhibition will display a selection of experimental objects and architectural drawings from private collections, along with recent work by artists and architects. At its core is the collection of Luce van Rooy, who from 1980 to 1995 ran a famous ‘Architectuur Galerie’ in Amsterdam, where young architects such as Ben van Berkel, Zaha Hadid, Lebbeus Woods and Rem Koolhaas exhibited and sold their work; architectural drawings, presented as autonomous art.
StadsSalon is a national monument, and culture-house initiative of Baptist Braye and Tracy Metz. www.stadssalon.nl
