Advanced Technical Interior Architect

We are currently looking for an Advanced Interior Architect to join our team in Dubai.

Full-time · Dubai

As an international architectural firm, UNStudio is active in the broadest fields of architecture. Our project portfolio covers every aspect of architecture, ranging from small- to large-scale projects, research and theory. We are currently looking for an Advanced Interior Architect:

Skills:

  • Degree in interior design, architecture or related disciplines

  • Worked 10 years or above on interior design projects at a top-tier international architecture or interior design firm

  • Extensive experience in cultural, large-scale retail, commercial, hospitality & mixed-use program

  • Excellent technical interfacing and detailing skills with the ability to work out interior design solutions through innovative thinking (documented through construction documents or shop drawing packages)

  • Experience in writing performance specifications

  • Enthusiasm for and extensive knowledge of both standard and customized materials and finishes

  • Proactive and self-motivated, with an innate commitment to furthering design

  • Familiarity with how to handle complex geometry is advantageous

  • Fluency in written and spoken English

  • Proficient knowledge of Rhinoceros, Autocad, Adobe suite, etc.

The Requirements

• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Architecture

• 10+ years of related experience, including proven ability to deliver projects from beginning to end.

• Experience interpreting building code requirements in designs, coordination with consultants, and clear client communication.

• Revit proficiency is required

• Proficient in the use of 2D/3D software, including BIM360, Octane, Lumion, Rhino, V-Ray, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator),

• Experience using and applying VR and/or AR as applicable to the architectural design process is a plus

• Extensive knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and building codes

• Strong organizations skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time

• LEED accreditation a plus
