Located in the heart of Amsterdam’s Oosterdokseiland, the 65,000 m2 campus redefines the workplace as a healthy, inclusive, and sustainable environment that reflects Booking.com’s global leadership in the tech industry.

The campus is designed to connect people, spaces, and ideas, fostering serendipitous encounters and collaboration. Inspired by Amsterdam’s vibrant neighborhoods, the architecture weaves together volumes to create interior and exterior balconies, double-height social spaces, and rooftop connections. These features encourage movement and interaction, while glazed staircases and bridges promote physical activity and offer light-filled views.

The campus prioritises employee well-being with underfloor air distribution, radiant ceilings for comfortable heating and cooling, and carefully designed acoustics. Generous daylight and low-glare artificial lighting enhance visual comfort, while 28 micro holiday destination breakout spaces offer themed areas for relaxation, collaboration, and dining, designed by the lead interior architect HofmanDuJardin. Employees are empowered to ‘design their day’ with a variety of work and meeting spaces tailored to their needs.

Achieving BREEAM Excellent certification, the campus incorporates sustainable solutions such as a connected building management system and energy-efficient systems. The design reflects Booking.com’s transparent and functional way of working, creating a flexible urban campus that embodies how we will work, live, and connect in the future.
