The groundbreaking ceremony for Nobu Residences Park Meadows Amsterdam marked the official arrival of Nobu Hospitality in the Netherlands. Designed by UNS, the project introduces a new benchmark for high-end living in the city, combining refined residential architecture with the signature Nobu experience.

Located adjacent to Amsterdam’s tranquil Beatrixpark, the development features two sculptural towers that will house 213 residences. The design reflects a thoughtful integration of Nobu’s global identity with the local context of the city. The architecture balances privacy and openness, offering expansive views while maintaining a strong connection to the surrounding landscape.

At the heart of the development will be Nobu Amsterdam, the brand’s first restaurant in the country. Designed by the Rockwell Group, the restaurant will serve as both a culinary destination and a social anchor for the residences and the wider community.

A Landmark Moment for Nobu in Europe
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Nobu Hospitality’s three founders – Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro, and Meir Teper – alongside CEO Trevor Horwell. Their presence in Amsterdam underscored the significance of this project as part of Nobu’s European expansion.

Henk Brouwer, CEO of Breevast, the project’s development partner, shared: “With the laying of the first stone, the realisation of Nobu Residences Park Meadows and the Nobu Amsterdam restaurant comes one step closer.
