Matthieu Bletgen is the CFO of UNS, where he combines his strong business acumen with a collaborative approach to drive the studio’s financial strategy and operations. Matthieu works closely with all disciplines and stakeholders, ensuring that UNS remains financially robust while supporting its innovative and sustainable design ambitions. With his pragmatic and analytical mindset, Matthieu fosters a results-driven yet informal environment, prioritising personal development, connection, and entrepreneurship to inspire those around him.

In his more than 30 years of working experience, Matthieu has worked for a Big Four audit firm and in several financial positions, mostly as CFO, in a variety of industries before he joined UNS in 2022. He studied Accounting and Auditing at Nyenrode Business University and is registered in the Dutch register of auditors (RA).

As CFO, Matthieu has developed expertise across a wide range of areas, including growth strategies, M&A, corporate finance, business development, turnarounds, restructuring, working capital management and treasury. His track record also includes process optimisation, IT, legal and governance. Matthieu thrives in dynamic environments, bringing a hands-on approach to complex challenges and a passion for driving success and innovation within organisations.
