Dune Diwan reimagines the essence of connection, drawing inspiration from the Middle Eastern Majlis—a space designed for social interaction and meaningful conversations. More than just a seating system, it’s a place where community, dialogue, and listening take centre stage. By blending traditional and modern gathering styles, Dune Diwan creates a shared space that invites us to connect, exchange ideas, and embrace new perspectives.

The modular system offers versatility, combining low, wide cushions inspired by nomadic traditions with structured, Western-style seating. It seamlessly merges indoor and outdoor elements, formal and informal settings, creating an open and relaxed environment. Rooted in the tradition of the Majlis, which symbolises hospitality and connection, Dune Diwan modernises this timeless concept for today’s lifestyles.

The Majlis, meaning “living room” in Arabic, is more than a physical space—it’s a cultural tradition of gathering and hospitality. Typically featuring low-seating arrangements with cushions placed along walls or centrally grouped, the Majlis fosters closeness and community.

Looking ahead, Dune Diwan embraces the future with an alfresco version, extending its elegance and adaptability to outdoor living. This forward-thinking approach opens new possibilities, blending the collection’s signature style with the freedom of open-air spaces. Dune Diwan is more than furniture—it’s a celebration of connection, tradition, and contemporary design.
