Facts and figures

80%

We were able to keep 80% of the initial structure of the building during the refurbishment.

40%

By choosing to refurbish rather than demolishing the existing structure, we reduced the CO2 footprint by 40% compared to a new build.

67%

With location sensors and intelligent data infrastructure to monitor energy usage, our design reduced operational carbon by 67%.

This building fits the future ambition of the RVB. It is a sustainable redevelopment at a station location in an important city that enables us to offer civil servants a pleasant and healthy working environment, both now and in the future. Both parties strive for innovation and sustainability and this is reflected in the realisation of this sustainable government office.
