FlySolo Rehabilitation Medical Centre

The 550 m² centre is designed to reduce anxiety and foster imagination. Curved walls and wide corridors enable intuitive navigation, especially for children with functional impairments, while flexible therapy rooms accelerate functional outcomes. Waiting areas feature mini slides, interactive seating, and private nooks, offering playful distractions for children and privacy for families.

Wave-shaped windows in therapy rooms allow parents to observe sessions without making children feel overly watched, ensuring a balance of comfort and connection.

The interior prioritises sustainability and adaptability, using LEED-certified materials and flexible partition walls to accommodate changing needs. The design balances physical, psychological, and social aspects, creating a warm and humanising rehabilitation experience. Natural colors, wave-like wall graphics, and light-filled spaces enhance wayfinding and engagement, while fostering a sense of calm and inspiration. 

The sweeping facade, with its pearl-white aluminum curves, mirrors the wave-like interior graphics, symbolising new possibilities for families. Positioned near Beijing’s CBD, the centre serves as a beacon of hope, welcoming children and families embarking on their recovery journey.

Developed with FlySolo’s clinicians, therapists, and family advisory committee, the design reflects a shared commitment to uplifting children and advancing pediatric rehabilitation. By integrating play, exploration, and cutting-edge therapies, the FlySolo Rehabilitation Medical Centre sets a new standard for inclusive, child-focused healthcare.
