Rooted in flexibility and sustainability, the design accommodates a wide range of activities, from large conventions to intimate cultural events, with a modular layout that adapts to evolving needs. Drawing inspiration from Alicante’s architectural heritage, the facade features local materials like Lumaquela Rosa limestone, while shaded plazas and framed vistas connect the space to its Mediterranean context. Environmental strategies include solar shading, seawater-based HVAC systems, and rainwater harvesting, ensuring a low-carbon footprint. Delivered in phases, the project prioritizes immediate public benefit while reclaiming waterfront spaces for leisure and marine activities, creating a dynamic and inclusive platform that redefines Alicante’s connection to its port and future.
