Boat Terminal

1994

The Yokohama International Port Terminal design explores the relationship between structure, circulation, programme, and surfaces. It integrates architecture, infrastructure, and landscape, with garden-like voids—microscope, telescope, and kaleidoscope gardens—transforming the architecture. Inspired by Yokohama’s urban grid interrupted by parks, the project merges structural codes with fluidity.
