The design features three interconnected volumes rising from the landscape, with a sloping green roof that seamlessly integrates with the surrounding terrain. These rooftop spaces provide outdoor screening areas, dining options, and sweeping views of EuropaCity and the Parisian skyline. The building’s facade, inspired by large-scale landscape sculptures, utilises weathered metal tones to establish a distinctive identity while complementing the masterplan’s “Rolling Hills” concept.
Internally, the Centre Culturel is organised into three clusters, each dedicated to a specific film genre, converging in a central foyer. Visitors can access cinema halls or observe the filmmaking process in the production studios below. The design prioritises community engagement, offering rooftop terraces, outdoor projections, multimedia art installations, and social spaces, making cinema a shared and dynamic experience.
Sustainability is a core focus, with features such as natural ventilation, rainwater reuse, and green roofs that provide insulation. Sun and wind studies shaped the building’s form, ensuring user comfort and reducing environmental impact. The Centre Culturel celebrates film as both an art form and a communal activity, creating a landmark destination for all.
