The facade of Galleria Hall West features 4,330 glass discs mounted on a metal substructure attached to the existing concrete cladding. Each disc is made of sandblasted laminated glass with a dichroic foil, creating a surface that changes appearance based on the viewer’s angle, time of day, and weather conditions.

During the day, the discs reflect and absorb light and colour, producing a dynamic visual effect. At night, LED lights behind each disc interact with the material, allowing for digitally controlled colour and light displays. This creates a circular, pixelated effect that can adapt to seasons, events, or artistic inspirations, offering a constantly shifting and engaging facade.
