The central feature of the house is a twisting circulation element that organises the interior and aligns views with the surrounding landscape. The structure’s minimal load-bearing design allows for column-free, fully glazed corners, creating a continuous connection between inside and outside. The programme follows the path of the sun, with spaces for living, dining, and relaxation arranged to maximise light and views.
The interior combines open, social areas with private spaces, using natural materials like oak flooring, stone, and white clay stucco to enhance light and atmosphere. Custom furnishings and integrated features further connect the architecture to its surroundings. A darker, acoustically treated room provides a contrasting intimate space for music and personal expression.
The garden extends the house’s design, with terraces, pools, and planting zones transitioning from concrete near the house to natural stone closer to the vineyard. Haus am Weinberg creates a dynamic relationship between the observer and the landscape, offering a unique living experience.
