Hotel and Hamam

2001

The Castell Zuoz project in Switzerland involved the addition and renovation of the Hotel Castell, transforming it into a modern art and wellness destination. A new apartment building, “Chesa Chastlatsch,” was designed with a south-facing facade to maximise views of the Engadin valley. Its open and enclosed balconies, made of textured metal panels, respond to the alpine environment and protect interiors from the sun. The apartments feature flexible layouts with open plans centred around a fixed core.
