International Investment Square

The urban design incorporates rings of buildings encircling internal courtyards, referencing traditional Chinese living while balancing individuality and community. The masterplan includes three distinct neighbourhoods, each subdivided to provide varying levels of privacy and individuality. Semi-public courtyards at the core of the building blocks create gradations of public, communal, and private spaces.

A central public plaza hosts retail, cultural amenities, restaurants, and terraces, forming the hub of activity. Low-rise buildings, up to 30m high, house office incubators on the lower levels and apartments above, offering privacy and views. The undulating roofs of the low-rise structures transition into the vertical facades of four towers, which include office, residential, and hotel functions. The towers, rising to 120m, feature tapering L-shaped forms, ensuring good sun orientation and views throughout the development.
