Across a 536,000 m² site, the masterplan brings together research and laboratory space, workplaces for biotech companies, incubator space for start-ups, temporary housing, and a range of social and local amenities. The built footprint is limited to protect the site’s role as a cold-air producer for the city.
The campus is organised into three zones: the Knowledge Frame for research, work, and learning; the Play Frame for sport, culture, and outdoor activity; and the Nature Frame for landscape restoration and ecological value. At the centre, a generous Climate Park supports cooling, water retention, and public use.
With strong public transport, clear logistics, and a climate-responsive design approach, The Frame sets out an open campus for innovation, collaboration, and long-term resilience.
