New Street Station

2008

The design for New Street Station considers its role as both an urban element and a transportation hub. At its core, the atrium serves as a central connection point, integrating retail facilities with the station’s flow. Escalators and a central bridge link the concourse and retail levels, activating the space and providing alternative city connections. The roof’s structure mirrors the bridge’s geometry, creating a column-free space.
