Ponte Parodi

The building integrates with the urban fabric, creating a meeting point for residents, students, tourists, and cruise travellers. It houses retail, cafes, restaurants, wellness facilities, a cruise terminal, cultural programmes, and a rooftop park with an amphitheatre and botanical features. The programming complements existing attractions, drawing more visitors while benefiting the surrounding area.

Circulation is organised through an inner gallery, open-air gallery, sea-side esplanade, and urban park, optimising pedestrian flows and access to the rooftop park. The structure’s design encourages exploration, with access points at both ends of the pier.

The project exemplifies multi-functional regeneration, combining diverse programmes to create a dynamic and sustainable urban quarter that connects with the city’s infrastructure and local communities.
