Villa Wilbrink

The design prioritises privacy and tranquillity, with no visible façade from the street. Instead, sloping grey walls and shingle planes conceal the house, with a narrow path leading to a hidden entrance at its core. Light enters through a central patio, creating a bright interior while maintaining privacy. The smooth, uninterrupted walls are achieved by gluing sandstone bricks, enhancing the house’s defensive and introverted character. Inside, the light-filled patio provides a sense of openness and a year-round holiday atmosphere.
