The masterplan emphasises sustainability and livability, incorporating a 77-hectare park, car-free zones, and decentralised fitness and sports activities to foster a healthy lifestyle for 12,000 students, 4,000 families, and 20,000 workers. The design leverages the site’s natural features, such as fluctuating water levels, to create wetlands, streams, and green infrastructure based on a sponge city model, enhancing biodiversity and mitigating flooding. A "Blue City" concept combines water and technology, with smart mobility solutions like self-driving cars and innovation hubs in repurposed industrial spaces.
The neighborhoods are connected by a meandering path, ensuring accessibility and phased development. By interweaving ecology and community, the masterplan aims to create a resilient, vibrant environment that supports both local wildlife and human well-being.
