UNS, in collaboration with Hardt Hyperloop, has presented its vision for the "Station of the Future" as part of the Hyperloop Implementation Programme (HIP). This initiative focuses on creating a sustainable, high-speed transportation network that connects cities like Amsterdam and Frankfurt in just 50 minutes, offering a viable alternative to air travel. The hyperloop system, powered by solar energy, produces no emissions and aims to revolutionise travel by reducing CO2 emissions and addressing global urbanization and environmental challenges.

The station design is based on modularity and adaptability, allowing it to integrate seamlessly into various urban contexts, from city centers to low-rise areas. The modular framework organises functional spaces, such as luggage check-ins, bicycle docks, and biophilic parks, while also enabling the station to act as an energy hub, storing and distributing solar power. The hyperloop’s speed and efficiency not only transform passenger travel but also enable new possibilities for knowledge transfer, urban workspaces, and hyper-local economies, reshaping how cities connect and function.
