HyperEdge

2020

The HyperEdge study explores innovative development opportunities for the South Western outskirts of Amsterdam, a unique urban fringe bordered by the Amsterdamse Bos and Schiphol Airport. This area, constrained by airport noise and safety regulations, cannot evolve into a typical urban environment, preserving its open space and ecological value. The study proposes a new approach to this "frayed edge," transforming it into a dynamic zone for people and nature.
