Le Toison d'Or

Le Toison d’Or, designed in collaboration with Jaspers-Eyers, is a mixed-use development in Brussels that combines retail and residential programmes. Located on Avenue de la Toison d'Or, the project includes 72 apartments, 12,199 m2 of commercial space, a 1,040 m2 crèche, 330 parking spaces, and a 2,950 m2 elevated city garden.

The facade features curved vertical frames that break up the block structure, enclosing balconies on the upper floors and framing large retail display windows below. The street-facing facade contrasts with the horizontal arrangement of the courtyard garden, where spacious balconies offer a quieter urban experience.

Residents access the apartments via a sculptural staircase leading to an elevated reception lobby. Apartments range from 50 to 750 m2, with high ceilings and open kitchens designed as central social spaces. Sustainability features include triple glazing, advanced thermal and acoustic insulation, and a cogeneration system for energy efficiency.
