This project transforms the shopping mall into more than just a commercial hub, it becomes a vibrant cultural journey that harmonises urban life with natural beauty, offering a dynamic and immersive destination. At its core, the design emphasises connectivity and functionality through thoughtful spatial planning. A green corridor bridges the site, while open courtyards and voids bring natural light into the retail and residential areas. The podium rooftop hosts F&B and commercial spaces with panoramic views, blending leisure with cultural activities. Residential zones are carefully distanced from commercial and cultural functions, ensuring privacy and tranquility with features like a 50-meter buffer and indoor balconies. The bold weaving facade unifies the structure, with a central knot-like design inviting the surrounding park into the interior. This cohesive architectural identity seamlessly integrates diverse programs, making the Lotte Sangam Complex a landmark that embodies Seoul’s cultural and natural flows.
